Men and Officers of the Federal Fire Service avert disaster at Ojuelegba bridge


Rescue efforts by the men and officers of the Federal Fire Service have prevented what would have been ‘a national disaster’. The incident is said to be happening as at the time of this report. The incident which took place at Ojuelegba Bridge, Lagos State.



The fire service department tweeted on their handle, reporting the incident saying:

A 33,000 litres of truck laden with diesel was prevented from causing another national disaster by Officers and men of Federal Fire Service at Ojuelegba bridge. Situation under control and normalcy restored. @JOHNNWABUEZE12 @AdebiyiAdekemi9 @Mikeanowa @segalink
