2019 UTME (Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination) had over 1.2 million candidates who sat for the exam from April 11 to April 18 awaiting their results.
According to the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB), the results “would be released shortly.” This was announced via the official twitter handle, they also used the means to advice candidates to disregard reports claiming results for this year’s UTME have been released. See tweet below;
“JAMB wishes to refute claims being credited to it on the release of the 2019 UTME. Candidates are advised that the results of the UTME would be released shortly,”
Candidates who sat for the exams have also been advised “to guard their profile code and registration details jealously as unscrupulous individuals are on the prowl to dupe unsuspecting candidates.”
They also stated that “all candidates to disregard messages and calls from any source claiming to have access to the Board’s classified information. Any information would be passed across via media outlets or the Board’s website.”
Since the announcement, there has been so many mixed reactions with candidates expressing fears of what is to come, some are worried there might be a underlying problem that is yet to be announced. Share your thoughts on the delayed results in the comment section.
