Anthony Joshua not ready for the arguments, gives his stance on Messi, Ronaldo

The argument about who the best player is, between Barcelona star, Lionel Messi and Juventus star, Lionel Messi is unending and World boxing great, Anthony Joshua has been asked to give his opinion on the both world leading footballers.

Joshua who is set to defend his WBO, WBA and IBF titles at Wembley against Alexander Povetkin on September 22, refused to join in the argument when asked to give his view.

He stated that he is more of an individual fan than a team follower, hence he will not toe the line of club fans when asked by Watford striker Troy Deeney for The Premier League show.

He claim to love Deeney, Ronaldo, Messi. He did not forget to mention legendary player, Pele.

He said these players have earned his respect because of their strong fighting mentality which is responsible for their individual successes.

It has been a contest between Ronaldo and Messi for the past decade with each player winning the Ballon d’Or on several occasions.

The heavyweight champion, Joshua, is also a great fighter in his field and has been billed to face Povetkin. A victory for him means he will unify the heavyweight division.

He will also have to face Deontay Wilder who holds the WBC strap.
